Manish Jha :: President and CEO
Manish Jha, a wireless industry veteran with 18 years of experience in new media strategy, management and operations, joined envIO in November 2008 as President and CEO. He was previously the CEO of Vantrix Corp., a technology company focusing on multimedia content. Prior to Vantrix, Manish spent over 16 years at ESPN, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of ESPN Mobile. Previously, Manish led the launch of ESPN360, ESPN’s premium Internet video service. Manish is widely recognized in the industry and was named one of the "50 most influential people in streaming and technology" by Streaming Magazine in 2002, recognized in 2005 as a "CableFax 100", named in The Hollywood Reporter's "Who's Who in Mobile" in 2006, and cited by The Sports Business Journal as one of the influential sports technology executives of the decade in 2008.
Prakash R. Iyer :: CTO and Founder
Prakash Iyer is a co-founder and CTO of envIO networks Inc. Prior to envIO, Prakash led Product Development at Motorola for Push-to-Talk, IMS and Seamless Mobility. He joined Motorola in 2003 though the acquisition of Winphoria Networks, a pioneer of Mobile Wireless SoftSwitch and Push-to-Talk applications for the wireless market. Prakash’s earlier roles include Department Head and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs. He has authored numerous patents, and has a number of pending patent applications in the telecom infrastructure and applications space.
Sundar Rangamani :: VP of Engineering and Founder
Sundar Rangamani is VP of Engineering and a co-founder of envIO networks Inc. He previously held Senior Director of Engineering roles with Motorola and Winphoria Networks. Prior to that, Mr. Rangamani co-founded and managed his own custom software development firm, delivering solutions to leading US telecom companies. He holds over a dozen patents in voice and data networking.
Vladimir Edelman :: VP of Marketing and Business Development
Vladimir Edelman is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Prior to joining envIO Networks Mr. Edelman served as Chief Marketing Officer for iconmobile GMBH, one of the largest mobile marketing agencies in the world, and part of the WPP group of companies. While at iconmobile Mr. Edelman was responsible for new business, product development, and integration with WPP agencies. Prior to iconmobile, Mr. Edelman founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Ansible, a worldwide mobile communication services company and a joint venture of Interpublic Group and Velti PLC. Mr. Edelman joined Ansible from Soapbox Mobile, a leading provider of full-service mobile marketing solutions, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Soapbox Mobile, he served as vice president and general manager of ESPN Mobile Publishing Worldwide, where he managed all aspects of ESPN's domestic and international wireless publishing business, including application licensing, video, wireless Internet, games, and messaging products to carriers. Prior to joining ESPN, Mr. Edelman served as vice president and general manager for Vulcan Sports Media. Mr. Edelman's experience also includes executive positions at CBS, FOX, and MSNBC. Mr. Edelman holds an M.S. in financial journalism from Boston University, and his written work has appeared in Playboy, SPY, The Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly and Psychology Today.
